Cytech Tours for Africa is the only company in South Africa that can boast of 35 years of African motorcycle travel covering a total distance of around 3 million miles. With Trans African tours of over 25 000km and breakfast runs of 1000 and 2000km, reaching this huge number took little effort. More remarkable still is their safety record of not a single fatality.

Their ‘Cape to Cairo’ tours are a legend in their own time. Tours to Angola, the DRC and Eritrea, even before borders where officially opened to foreigners, are another benchmark of the pioneering nature of the company with many tours having to take place under military escort.

Today things are different but Tours for Africa is still the benchmark with each African tour offering much more than simply a chance to ride e.g. business opportunities with local government officials and Chamber of Commerce members are the norm while excursions to the 'Best of Africa' are built into the touring schedule.
