I would like to thank you and your team for an amazing experience on Saturday 15th May ’10 doing “Ride the Dump”
I was, as you know very apprehensive and nervous – to say the least.
I managed to overcome all my fears and allayed my apprehensions, thanks to your team’s expertise, empathy and support.
I am so pleased that I fell off twice and did not suffer any physical injuries, nor inflict any damage to my brand new BMW R1200GS Adventure motorcycle.
I have definitely learned to respect the motorcycle and its capabilities without fear and dread that I carried to the Event
You and your staff were professional, helpful and extremely competent
The afternoon was slickly organised and it amazes me that at the tender age of 52 I was able to join the “guys” in the sandpit and intend going on Ride The Crater on the 6th June if I can arrange my life around it
I had amazing fun

Thanks to Ray and his “team” for Saturday’s Ride the dumps.
It was just what I needed to get my confidence level up on the soft stuff, and I am sure that all the guys would have gone back out if it wasn’t getting dark!!
Your attention to detail was very reassuring.
Thanks again

The full version is 40 minutes long and is in HD and if you want it on DVD let me know and I’ll get it to you.
Thanks again for the great day.

What can one say but express great appreciation to the TEAM—Ray, Alain, Byron. You guys are great motivators and instructors.
I personally had a great day and enjoyed the ride which I found demanding yet thoroughly enjoyable and that’s what adventure riding—in my opinion—should be about. I find that no matter how much skill, experience one has we can always learn and practice while we have fun.
I would like to say to the group that I enjoyed the “gees” and those that have not done RIDE AFRICA – you should consider it if you enjoyed this Saturday because that was just a taste of RIDE AFRICA — I’ve done it and I’m doing it again because this machine(F800GS) and I enjoyed it so much.
Dr Berman, Les, what can I say besides I hope you’re feeling good—you’re an Icon with your determination and perseverance—we can all only learn from this. They don’t make them like you anymore buddy.
I’m in for the Crater, again, and would really like to order some water and mud for mains.

What a privilege to share in the "Ride the Dump" on Saturday.
As a novice, I was very comforted by the encouragement from the instructors as well as my fellow riders. I very quickly felt at home and started feeling more comfortable on my new bike. The advice given was well appreciated and it had the right results, so I am very happy with the day.
I have booked for both the "Crater" as well as "Ride Africa". I am confident that if "The Dump" is anything to go by, I will learn more on each of the other rides. Who knows maybe one day I can join the team to Cairo.
Thanks again to all involved. It was an awesome day.

Many thanks for a memorable and exciting day of training at the Dump on Saturday. What a great venue/course! I want to highly commend you all for the able manner in which you enabled us to gain the confidence & skills so necessary to confidently negotiate difficult sandy off-road terrain.
I was therefore able to go out on Sunday 17th and put my new found skills and confidence to good use over a long, challenging sandy/rocky mountainous pass in the Magaliesburg. We did a long off-road stretch and left a 4 X 4 which was negotiating the same stretch in our dust. Wow!! Yippee!!
A very grateful major thank you to you & Don for fitting the pannier brackets for me so late on Saturday. They really saved major damage to my bike when I fell (so many times – you can’t take some guys anywhere!! – I hope to have improved after your professional tuition now though)
Once again MANY THANKS,
Les Berman (fighting fit – can’t wait for my next ride)

Speaking as one of the aging bodies, mine is stiff as all hell. But then again, I was trying to push the limits. My darling wife has forgiven the "character" scratch on her bash plate and brand new Hepco and Becker crash bars. She enjoyed the story when I told her how I broke her windscreen that was literally 4 hours old. Let’s call it a freak accident. I had great fun. I would suggest that you consider developing another Saturday afternoon course like this for chaps with a higher proficiency level (and at a slightly higher price) where even more extreme stuff can be practiced. Alternatively, doing this on a regular basis is great fun and good practice.

I’ve had a fantastic afternoon, walked out with new confidence, and am looking forward to your Cape to Cairo next year. What really made the afternoon though was the friendly encouragement that we constantly got from you guys. Most important thing I’ve learnt is to next time wear a kidney belt
Thanks again

Ray I need to thank you, Alain, Byron, and all the guys who attended Saturday’s off-road event for all your support, patience and encouragement. I had an absolutely enjoyable afternoon and did things I never thought I would do at my experience level.
Thanks again.
