Jessica Chvatal
Born in Belgium and grew up in Barbados, in the West Indies, central and southern Africa (the Democratic Republic of the Congo and the Republic of South Africa) and Belgium. I completed my Bachelors in Florida, USA, in Human Development (with a special emphasis in Social Work) and a double minor in Spanish and Anthropology as well as a Masters at UCT in Social Policy & Management in 2009 and have been living in beautiful Cape Town for the past five years.
I am part crew and part a ‘Cairo to Cape Recce Run 2011′ participant. This trip is a dream come true for me. I cannot wait to experience all that this journey has to offer (the good and the bad) and expect to be blown away by the lessons learnt, the cultural riches discovered, the obstacles confronted and the stunning environments travelled. I want to thank my family for supporting me and for enduring my constant need for adrenaline and adventure. Cairo to Cape, here I come…
